School Uniform
We believe a uniform allows all children, regardless of background, to feel equal to their peers and confident in their appearance. We also believe it is important for activities to be facilitated by specialised and appropriate clothing such as sports-specific attire.
Furthermore, we are committed to promoting equality and value for money, and to ensuring that no child is unfairly discriminated against. There is no expectation that children wear uniform that bears the school logo. A number of alternative options are available to families from suppliers such as supermarkets.

In Early Years*, our uniform is:
- Navy blue School jumpers or cardigans
- White polo shirts
- Navy trousers, shorts, skirts, pinafore dress or summer blue ‘gingham’ dress.
- Sensible black school shoes (no trainers please)
- Navy, white or black socks, or navy tights
*Uniform is optional in Nursery.
Outdoor shoes:
- Wellies, black shoes/boots or trainers
Jewellery and make up
- Children should not wear jewellery to school. If your child has pierced ears, ‘studs’ must be worn on school days and these must be removed for PE and swimming. Nail varnish/make up are not allowed.
From Year 1-6, our uniform is:
- Navy blue School jumpers or cardigans
- White shirt
- School tie
- Navy trousers, shorts, skirts, pinafore dress or summer blue ‘gingham’ dress.
- Sensible black school shoes (no trainers please)
- Navy, white or black socks, or navy tights
PE kit:
PE kits should be in school 5 days a weeks, regardless of timetabled PE day. You will be directed by your child’s class teacher if they require an indoor or outdoor P.E kit, or both.
Indoor Kit
- Navy shorts and a plain white t-shirt & pumps or trainers.
Outdoor Kit
- Navy shorts, tracksuit bottoms or leggings, plain white t-shirt, trainers (that are suitable for outdoors), hat/cap if necessary.
Preparing your child for learning is a key role for any parent. It is important for your child to feel fully prepared, organised and well equipped for their busy day ahead. Your class teacher will provide you with any additional information but the following equipment is necessary:
- PE bag (navy drawstring bag) - available online or widely available in supermarkets/online shops.
- Book bag (KS1) - available online.
- School bag (KS2 - small bag which can fit school essentials)
- Black indoor shoes
- Suitable outdoor shoes or wellies
- Appropriate waterproof coat depending on weather.

We know that children grow so quickly and therefore there is a lot of great quality uniform that families are looking to move on. This provides a brilliant opportunity for families to recycle and reuse uniform and outerwear items that still have a long life ahead of them. There are a range of ages and sizes available, so please come and take a look, or add your unwanted items to them.
The swap shop is located in the main entrance and is available for all families to use.
